$240 - 50 min appointment

Whilst it is understandable that you may need to cancel an appointment, please note that due to the long waiting lists for psychology appointments, a cancellation fee of $120 will apply should you fail to change or cancel appointments within 48 hours of the appointment time.

Medicare Rebates

A referral is not necessary to access services at Satiate Psychology. However, if you have a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) or an Eating Disorder Treatment and Management Plan (EDP), you will be able to receive a Medicare rebate of $98.95 per session. With a MHCP, you will be eligible to claim the rebate for 10 sessions per calendar year, and with an EDP plan, you may be eligible for up to 40 sessions per year.

To claim Medicare rebates for sessions you must be a Medicare card holder and provide us with a valid referral from your GP. Speak with your GP about the best plan for you. 

Private Health Rebates: If you have private health insurance with extras cover that includes psychology, you may also be eligible for a partial rebate.
